THERAPY

“Contrary to what we may have been taught to think, unnecessary and unchosen suffering wounds us but need not scar us for life. It does mark us. What we allow the mark of our suffering to become is in our own hands.” ~bell hooks

Therapy is a journey. It can take great courage, invite deeper awareness and offer new opportunities for change.

Clients are provided a confidential, safe and respectful space in which to identify, understand and address problems in ways that honour their lived and sociopolitical experiences and worldview. Working with sensitivity, compassion and cross-cultural understanding ensures your unique background and experiences are listened to without judgment. Understanding the “back story” prioritizes your specific needs by exploring choices and tools necessary to make changes positive and long-lasting.

People of all identities, background and experiences are welcome. However, if you are looking for more information on a specific area of expertise, approach or client experience, check the FAQ below.

If you are still unsure, please contact me.
